A Newsletter and the programme of Events for 2012 will be available soon. Some highlights for next year are:

The St David’s Day Dinner will be held at Harewood Downs Golf Club, with Roy Noble as our guest speaker. Roy has one of the best known voices in Wales. An immensely popular entertainer, he hosts a daily show on Radio Wales and was formerly presenter of Heno magazine on S4C.

21 people have already put their names down for the Snowdonia break put together by Mike Stythe for May 2012. It promises a comfortable hotel, lots of beautiful scenery and fresh air, and “the train will take the strain”. One day will have a train trip to the summit of Snowdon followed by a downhill walk. Another will include a walk along the river through the beautiful Aberglaslyn Pass to Beddgelert in between train trips on the narrow gauge Welsh Highland Railway.

In September a visit to Oxford will include a guided walking tour, lunch in Jesus College, and will finish off with afternoon tea at the Randolph Hotel.
